Maybe newer cuz it's assembled in Mexico? The bottom says "ASSEMBLED IN MEXICO In Border Zone by GE subsidiary from parts made in U.S.A."

hmmmm weird....I know GE did discontinue making Photocells.......but hey Darren knows a lot....so....I guess last Photocells were made in 1981...

Cool! Thanx for the info! I've never seen a GE PC this new. About when did they start using colored plastic instead of painting the inside?

The first GE solid colored plastic ones came out in the mid to late 60's.

Hmmm I haven't seen the ones with painting inside.....my GE one is a solid colored one and older than the above.......
