Troffer-Cum-Shoplight...
Kinda self-explanatory I guess...lamps are currently warm white GE Mainlighters from May of 1979 running on a late 1970s Universal Therm-O-Matic rapid start ballast.
The other (identical) one visible in the pic is also going to get suspended just like this along the other wall to the left.

It's ridiculous how bright this is with those warm white lamps on a full-power ballast...with the low CRI (52) of warm white it doesn't surprise me that they're bright since with halophosphate lamps, the lower the CRI, the higher the LPW. But, it's BRIGHT! I may have to try putting the door back on this light...I've always left if off before especially since I like seeing the etches of vintage lamps like I'm using right now.

The only not-so-great things are the the suspension method which is kinda tacky admittedly and also the wiring...the cord is visible on the left end of the fixture, going to a power strip... Laughing But the other light is going along the other wall so they can be fed by the same power strip I guess...in this case hardwiring is pointless for a variety of reasons, especially on suspended fixtures!
It looks more impressive in person too.
