!940s Circline lamp with 3- light medium base lamp
Got this nice item here from one of my many bootsales (flea markets) the seller kept saying the light was very bright and as I explained to him it was from across the pond and their voltage is less then ours he seemed to understand, the ballast wiring was a nightmare but did work it out and it works with the press switch that heats the filaments of the tube and it strikes when let go, running on 120v transformer

So it was running at twice it's rated voltage and didn't cook itself? Wow!

No the lamp was and it still survived the ballast was not even wired I had to sort that out as it had several different windings in a ring form toroidal transformer, seen nothing like it here UK so it was challenging to get it working

Hi Andy, yes I have a few old radios but they do take up so much space.
