What is that device on top of the signal? I see those in Warwick on the signal masts. Don't really see them outside Warwick so I've always wondered what they were for. Fire trucks and rescues?

It is for EMS, Fire trucks and things like that, it gives them a green by seeing the special beam. Mass has it all over the place
