Japanese Cobrahead
Found this in one of the more industrial areas of Osaka. Anyway I think this might be a Iwasaki design. It sorta resembles a B2217, one of the classic mercury fixtures used in Canada. I think this one used to use a 80w /DX merc but it's been refitted with a screw in LED retrofit.

Yeah I was thinking this looked a bit like an R37 or B2217. In the thumbnail it looks like a miniature 60s M-400 but not so much in the normal sized pic lol. BTW was the ballast mounted in the box where the arm attaches to like some of the older Canadian lights?

Yeah, I guess the medium sized cobrahead which I need to upload a picture of looks more like a 60s M-400. I'm not sure if the ballast was mounted in the box where the arm attaches but the nameplate on the box seems to suggest there's at least something inside.
