You learn fast!

Are these the lights that some people refered to as the "M-150"?
streetlight98   [Oct 26, 2011 at 10:06 PM]
I found out the M-150A and M-250A2 are the same exact fixture body, but the M-150 only held 50-150w HPS. It was an early version of the M-250A2. Once GE realized they could easily fit 250w gear in the light, it was renamed the M-250A2.

These are the 1st Gen of the A2's. I have never seen these in 250 watts untill the Second Gen which had a rounded top but still had a squared front.
streetlight98   [Oct 26, 2011 at 10:19 PM]
The flat fronted version did come in 250w HPS. I've actually seen 400 WATT VERSIONS of this on the intersteas here. Shocked
Antstar85   [Oct 26, 2011 at 10:21 PM]
yes that I know but there are two versions of the flat front ones. This one here has the squrared top housing and the second version has a rounded top housing.
streetlight98   [Oct 26, 2011 at 10:26 PM]
This is definetly an older one.... Can you post a pic of a more rounded one?
Antstar85   [Oct 26, 2011 at 10:29 PM]
Here is the second gen squared front.
streetlight98   [Oct 26, 2011 at 10:32 PM]
The second version of this is the 400w ones we have here. The 100w MV ones here are like the ones above exept in FCO. tHe M-150A was only made in HPS, so this version was also the M-250A2 later on. The M-150 was only made of a couple of years or so....
Antstar85   [Jan 29, 2015 at 11:12 PM]
And this one!
streetlight98   [Jan 30, 2015 at 12:23 AM]
Ugh. At least these lights served a relatively long service life. Not like here where RIDOT is replacing M-400 FCOs that are less than 10 years old (and some that are less than two years old, as they were knocked-down-pole replacements) with LEDs. I'm sure some of the fixtures never even had a lamp change! So far, they've only retrofitted one interchange's poles to LEDs the other few LEDs interchanges here have been the result of interchange upgrades where an entirely new lighting system was installed.
Model25FanForever   [Jan 30, 2015 at 11:16 AM]
I believe this is the same fixture as was in this storage lot.

They were installed in 2013 and now some of them are little LED shoebox's such as the ones shown in my link.

Actually if you go from September 2014 to October 2014 you can see the LED's.
streetlight98   [Jan 30, 2015 at 08:06 PM]
@ Model25FanForever: you got the model right, but wrong generation. If it was installed used, it could be this version with the rounded top and squared front. Or if it was installed new, the current version, with a rounded top and front. The one above is the first generation and is noticably much boxier than the later two versions.
