New M400R3
This is a better pic of the fixture I posted here: http://www.galleryoflights.org/mb/gallery/displayimage.php?album=407&pos=53

This one was installed a few months ago, I actually saw ComEd installing it as I was driving down the road. New pole, arm, and everything. It is an HPS fixture running a 400w Mercury lamp...

ComEd sounds a whole lot like IREA. xD They prefer MV and only use MV. But they have more sense, they use Pulse Start MH fixtures (Drop lens) and disable the ignitor then Put an MV lamp in it. That's what they do with new lights here.

Yep new fixtures have the HPS wattage labels, even though they are running mercury lamps. ComEd does have a few HPS lights, but they are uncommon.

Never seen this style truss arm...must be ComEd's latest truss arm!

Must be. There used to be an old pole there, with an M250R2, I believe. They went from a 175w drop lens to a 400w FCO...
