Yeah I remember those were common fixtures in the area......

Yup. Many of them have lenses that are really brown!

Yep I remember that too.....most likely original refractors too.....where I live regularly changes the plastic reractors...if it's glass....no not as much...unless it was cracked or unusually dirty!

Here they will replace the refractor if it's badly yellowed when something else fails. They don't make special trips for lenses here.
