Did they ever make a crimefighter version of the Form 400 and 175?

No....The first one was a GE M-250R in MV, they are basically cobraheads with a bucket refractor....

The smaller versions used the same bucket refractor most commonly used on the NEMA heads...and the bigger versions used the same refractors found on 400 watt Powerbrackets.....but both as in closed bottom instead of open bottom..

Were the lenses glass, plastic, or both?

I believe the older ones were glass...but the newer ones all are plastic.....
