GE M250A(?) 150W HPS
I think this is an M250A, but it might be an M400? Not sure. These used to be Mercs (I'm guessing 250w) until the village of Hoffman Estates converted all of their mercs to HPS about 10 years ago. This one is on a metal pole, used to be a concrete pole.

Yeah those are not serviced by ComEd, but by the town and cities...Public Works places do that. You may notice the different towns have different residential lights...for example Wheeling used UTD Dayform Traditionaire fixtures while the other towns did not use them but used different posttops. IT varied each town. There are still some towns that have those concrete or metal poles STILL holding mercury vapor. In Northbrook they still install the concrete poles, but instead of a curve upsweep...the newer ones are straight masts mounted right on top of the poles Wink

Yep, the Hoffman Estates public works manages these. The main roads use M400A3 400w HPS, smaller roads use M250A3 250w HPS, and residential streets use these older M250A's at 150w HPS.
