I wonder.. Could I go to the Graybar store I got this light from and order a light that isn't in the warehouse there? Like an OVX? Or another kind of cobrahead? And have it shipped to my address?
i don't know about that,in those types of situations sometimes they will require you order a certain amount,if at all.
custom orders usually have minimum quanities,and if its something they don't carry in their stock normally im willing to bet it would sort of come under that category.
Yes you could special order a fixture. I get all my lights from Graybar and most of them i special order. Just go on the manufacturers website and go to the spec sheet for the light you want, set up a part number and bring it in to them. I know for sure Graybar can order from AEL and GE. But they cant order abything from the Streetworks division of Cooper Lighting. I have actually tried going to a few different electrical distributors and nobody seems to be able to order streetworks. They always get back to me saying they Cooper only sells Streetworks to electric utility companies. But I think you can order the Lumark branded Cooper lights from Graybar. But you might want to stick with either AEL or GE. Because i got pricing on a Lumark cobrahead that is supposed to be the same as a Streetworks OVH, 100 watt HPS. . . .almost 400 dollars No way am i paying that much for a 100 watt small cobrahead. Maybe if it was a 400 watt HPS OVF, I'd consider paying that much.
