StreetLight #269 - Old Fluorescents
Another of the lighting poles at same place as the previous pic I posted. In this view you can see one on :)

Nice old fluorescent lighting at a used car dealer. Look pretty big, probably 8-foot lamps
No idea on age, but building was apparently built in 1937 (I'm guessing it was originally a house, but at some point converted to a business. Maybe 50's or 60's ? )

I like these American beasts!
How do they withstand very strong winds with their sizes?

I've always liked these as well.

They seem to hold up just fine! We can easily get 70-80+ mph wind gusts here. (and in some areas just over 100 .. I'm not sure they'd take that much though)

From what I understand, the mounting arm goes in the light at least a couple of feet, so it's on there quite securely.
