Compare this glass to a GE shallow glass refractor. They're not the same. The glass is Joslyn which is also used on Spaulding Metropolitan luminaires.

That's a later version, made into the 1970s. Earlier MV121s used the boxy glass like on the small MV111 clamshells. That one is an unique fitting, not interchangeable with any other make. I have one of these later MV121s, as well as a MV111.
