1992 M-250R2 Lit At Night
150W HPS. Lots of uplight. Maybe because of the leftover snow. It's drop lens so there's gonna be uplight but man there was quite a bit of it lol. Anyway, looks freakin' awesome at night with the longer arm.

Wow. Trying to piss off the neighbors? Laughing
Are you letting this run dusk to dawn?

This was only at 7:30PM. I shut the light off after taking the pics... No I never run anything dusk to dawn.

Yeah I knew you took this picture tonight.
I let lights run dusk to dawn a few times before while I was home alone, apparently a neighbor said something when my parents got back lol.

Looks nice! I need to get another light setup outside for the front, right now I have that M-250 R2 250 watts HPS on every night dusk to dawn. I should get one that is less energy consuming and also bug-guard it, and wire it right too. It has been a helpful light though, I don't have to come in the garage in complete darkness so. xD

But looks nice! You still got snow on the ground, where I am at.. Well it didn't snow much this year and we have had 70 degree weather for the past few weeks, though we have some chilly weather coming up this weekend. >.<

@ Ryan: Yeah I've left lights on dusk-to-dawn when my parents have gone on vacation but I had FCO lights up so the glare wouldn't be an issue. Otherwise I never leave my lights on past 9:30PM.

@ Ian: Thanks! Wow yeah 250W HPS is powerful. At least it's FCO though, isn't it? If you still have that 175W MH OVX that would look nice outdoors.

A week ago we had over a foot of snow on the ground, getting three storms earlier this month. Now with the past few days and the next few days being in the 50s-60s almost all the snow is gone. The sun is lower in the winter so it doesn't hit that back corner of the yard where it slopes down and there's more snow. The sun gets obscured by the trees. But since it's gonna be in the 60s for the next three days that snow will be all gone I'm sure.

Yeah, I am sure late night boaters on the lake can see it at night, I mean we have that big lake view. In fact I can see some of the American Electric 125's that are in the waaaaaay distance over the dam road lit up, though from my house they are just simple yellow dots. xD

And I have 3 OVXs right now, I still have that one, yes. And I also have the M-250 R1 that I have a 250 watt MH ballast in it. I was thinking about putting the 113 up that I painted blue, since I plan to move out to Texas (or Oklahoma) soon with friends, I want to leave a light I wouldn't miss much here for my parents.

I have about the same amount of snow left here as well. We had close to 2 feet after those 3 storms but it's been so warm as of late, it's melting fast.

When I finally get the new pole up, I wish I could leave it on dusk till dawn, but I don't think the neighbors will like it since it's pretty dark in the area with only the Town and country lights lifting the street up. It's amazing though how much the snow reflect the light back up. I remember at the old house seeing all the trees lit up driving down the street from the light being reflected off the snow.
