Looks good with that BT Westinghouse lamp in it! Cool
GullWhiz   [Feb 28, 2010 at 07:01 PM]
Well I bet it orginally had a Westy BT lamp! Most of the lamps in my area from 70s and early 80s were Westies while the mid to late 80s seem to be mostly GEs and Sylvanias...but Sylvanias were used in the 70s as well....But 90s mostly were using GEs and Philips...Today GE is used in our area!

MAN...your too lucky!...i saw these in alabama but they were Drop lensed with HPS Lamps.
GullWhiz   [Feb 28, 2010 at 07:07 PM]
This one had drop lens...but I put flat lens in cuz I received it without the lens....we also have HPS tudors around here too....they have them both......This one actually has the ballast on the housing side instead of the door side!

Nice additions to your fixture collection Jace!!!

Nice! You know my OV-25TD also has the ballast in the upper housing. My OV-15TD has the ballast on the door.

Dave will you show a pic of your OV-15TD and the ballast assembly? I would like to know how it is mounted and wired....thanks
Silverliner14B   [Mar 01, 2010 at 09:20 AM]
Ok sure, but bear with me I will have to access mine first. Most of my street lights are packed away.

Nice light, so now you have two Westinghouse OV-15 tudors.
GullWhiz   [Mar 03, 2010 at 12:44 AM]
No just one OV-15 Tudor.....I don't have any dupes except for the Unidor....
gmercury2000   [Jan 24, 2011 at 01:52 AM]
Jace, have you tried messing with installing the ballast on the door yet?
GullWhiz   [Jan 24, 2011 at 02:06 AM]
No sire....I still need a spare door and I wonder what cond of connections did Tudors have? I seek HPS ones too...(just the door) I see some HPS tudors in Laurel Downtown and some in Howard County......
gmercury2000   [Jan 24, 2011 at 02:11 AM]
I dont see too many of them in my area. Ill have to see if I come across one I will get a pic of the conn.
GullWhiz   [Jan 24, 2011 at 02:14 AM]
Your first light was a HPS tudor...hehehehehehehehe Show me the setup of door too....do you ever find a OV-15 tudor merc have ballast on door side?
gmercury2000   [Jan 24, 2011 at 02:20 AM]
Laughing Yes it was, though it ws shot out w/ a BB gun so I just changed the lamp. But so far I have not found a merc Tudor w/ ballast mounted on the door.
GullWhiz   [Jan 24, 2011 at 02:35 AM]
I know the 400 watt OV-25 merc tudor did have ballast on door around because I had one and it has the ballast on the door! But I gave it to a friend...

Have you seen any OV-25 Tudor with 400 watt HPS around here? I don't think I have....I know there are some McGraw Unidors 175 with mercs around, in fact I saw one near your area off 175 on the opposite way from the bowling place but didn't know the light source...
LilCinnamon   [Oct 27, 2011 at 08:38 AM]
I haven't seen ANY Tudors in the Denver area or around here! I really dunno where mine came from, all I know it was at the WL contractors yard and I was allowed to take it. xD

Can you take a picture of inside this? I kind of wonder what it looks like inside yours...
