Yodobashi Camera - Lighting Section In case any of you were wondering, here a shot of the lighting section from the store where I bought the two 40W Toshiba MV lamps and the 100w Toshiba MV lamps. You can actually see the exact ones I bought sitting on the shelf in the bottom-most picture. Yodobashi Camera is kinda like Best Buy back here but sells a much wider range of goods. Holy shoot! You'd have to go to a lighting supply store to find a selection that big in the States! Do a lot of stores have a general lighting section like this or was this an anomaly?

A lot of general merchandise stores have a smaller lighting section kinda like what you would see in Wal-Mart or in some grocery stores. It seemed only the electronics and hardware stores had a huge selection. The hardware store I went to had 1kW mercs on the shelf! The only other time I've seen 1kW mercs on a store shelf was in a Rona that had a more specialized selection. I also found a Sylvania 100w BT-25 HPS at said store.
