Nice! I personally like it better like this. My split door actually has the same door as a powr/door unit (has vents and also has screw holes inside and a cut-out for a powr/module latch). Instead of the flimsy sheet metal tab to hold the door on, mine uses one screw, looks exactly like above minus the little line for the NEMA tag.

Actually that piece of spring metal is pretty stout that's how this one's original door secures it almost difficult to push back to open the door. Your's doesn't have that line for the nema tag but has a tag anyhow?

Nope, my light is from 1973 so there were no NEMA tags at that time. I guess they hadn't come out with the designated split-door door at that time since it's identical to a powr/module door. Mine only has the screw like above, but it does have that rectangle cut-out for the powr/module temporary latch, to hold the door while you tighten the screw. I wish the M-250A's had that. Makes it easier. Even the MV M-400As didn't have the special temporary latch. Only the "lucalox" Powr/Doors had the screw and latch. With the M-400A2 everyone wins lol. I think all the lamp types had the latch and screw.

I thought it had a blue 40 on the door?

Yeah the one you sent me. Razz Very Happy Before that, it just had a paper one I printed since I think it looks better with a NEMA tag. With my M-250R1, I left it with no NEMA tag. The M-250A has a NEMA tag on the 120V door but not the 240V door. The 240V is the original door to it. So if i want the NEMA tag, I'll use the 120V door and when I don't want a NEMA tag I can use the 240V door.

Wow My memory is going. I sent you that nema label? I also thought I remembered seeing them on ebay with a label,I'v lost my mind. It still upsets me I couldn't get one of those. I even asked the seller if he could hold on for me until I could afford it.

LOL yeah you had sent me a paper sticker label with clear spraypaint on it to waterproof it (like on the M-250A2 door you're sending). Ah he wouldn't save one? I wonder what happened to them all. He had like 10 for sale and I doubt they all went... They were like $85 with $52 and change shipping. My grandpa has bought the light itself and I paid shipping. This was back in 2010, I was in 6th grade.
