Oh wow it's a genuine Westinghouse bucket. Very Happy Polycarbonate, acrylic, or glass?

I'm not sure if it poly. or acrylic but the plastic is pretty thick. I wish it were glass though, There hard to come by. I do have a LM glass bucket with really thick glass. Heavy too.

Tap a lens you know is acrylic with your fingertips. Then tap a lens you know is polycarbonate. Poly lenses make a louder sound when you tap them. Then tap this and see what sound it makes. That's how I always tell them apart lol. Wiht polycarbonate lenses you can sometimes see a rainbow type effect similar to the rainbow effect you see in a rain puddle with oil in it. My RMA's FP bucket is acrylic so it won't yellow but it's got a huge crack i superglued. Not worried about getting a new bucket though. Not spending 40 bucks on one unless the one i have gets smashed to bits lol.

I'm trying to get an internal light shield for my power bracket. i think that would be cool it wouldn't change the look and would cut down on the glare hitting the house.

Cool! I hope you can get one! I made my own glare shields. A little half-a** but it works well enough.
