Lights by Night (Jasco/GE) LED power failure emergency light and night light

Got this sometime ago, it has a little quirk that once you take out the flash light from the base, it automatically go into emergency mode or flash light mode, with a warm white LED in it. Plus, on the bottom of the light, has a night light as well when it's on its base or when power is present. Once the power goes out, the night light turns off and it automatically goes into emergency mode, which turns on the flashlight.

In auto mode the night light is controlled by a photocell which is below the switch, which is not that sensitive. And the on position, keeps the night light on.
