Thrift Store Finds
Took a trip to Goodwill yesterday and came home with some cool finds!
Left to Right:
- 60w No Name (I think GE) Incandescent
- 9w TCP "Mini-Bulb" CFL(Never seen one so small)
- Well used, older 11w IKEA 2P211 CFL
- And a 13w Enertron PL adapter. (magnetic)

The PL adapter seen too small for having magnetic ballast. Anyway, here in Israel we also had magnetic PL adapter "Orion" from Eltam Ein-hasophet, but their production is ceased because of the popularity of the more efficient electronically ballasted CFL and perhaps because PLs with these adapters look very ugly, in fact even more then standard tubular self ballasted CFLs (PL fixtures usually have the lamp horizontally mounted).

Yeah it looks pretty small but it still has a magnetic ballast! Could you post a picture of the one from Israel?

The adapter has been long disapeear from the factory's website so i can't post a picture from the website. But i still remember that they were much bigger then this one and shaped like the ballast plastic part of self ballasted CFLs.
