Sylvania 250W Mercury 
Here is the Sylvania 250W Deluxe Phosphors mercury vapour lamp that came with the McGraw Edison Unidor 250,it has a formed metal frame instead of a wire frame,it has a date code of 5 4 ,that is most likely from the mid 70's,it appears that it is the original lamp and well used,it has the light output of a 100W mercury lamp.

Most likely Canada, never seen that etch before! Such unusual finds typically come from Canada LOL.

Interesting etch, I've never saw that etch before with the x in the middle. I also agree with Vince, looks like this lamp was from Canada.

For that date code if its the mid 70s...then its June 1975 for the date code of 54

Very nice lamp! The only time I saw the "X" etch was in a photo of one of Joe Maurath's ultra-rare purple-stained Sylvania "X" (which were the first "/DX" lamps for a short time before the /DX phosphor was created).
