Hehe yeah,at least they are not Chinese made ,the price was right,got the first 400W at half price (above),and a second 400 watter with the three other smaller wattage lamps for a dollar each a week or so later, as the the store was clearing all their Philips lamps and now stocking Sylvania.

You should start looking for cheap lamps in the clearance bins at Home depot and the like

The local Lowe's here was also clearing out some HPS lamps a while back.
@Niall I think a 400W HPS OVX with a Philips lamp is a great combination if you want a strobe light
