Interesting, do you still have the fixture this came with?

weren't these rebranded philips lamps or were they just outsourced junk? IIRC the electronic HPS tallpacks from the same era came with philips lamps and the NOS LOA shoplite in my grandpa's basement has philips cool white tubes in them.

Oddly this looks like a GE lamp, the etch sorta looks like a old 80s style GE etch and the octagonal sleeve looks like a rebranded version of GE's.

Hey Darren, you have a picture of the fixture? I would like to see some pics.

i think they used GE lamps at one point too...

That definitely looks like a GE bulb, down to the etch. I've never seen a LOA mercury fixture though I heard they existed. It's a shame their electronic ballasts (and fixtures) were made so poorly, because they had some unique designs. I remember Home Depot selling 50w HPS brass-coated coach light fixtures made by LOA for $99. Wish I had at least taken a picture of the boxes as they were quite nice. I've never seen one on a house, probably because the electronic ballast failed early.

I know their weird shoplights also had LOA branded (I think rebranded GE Mainlighter) tubes sometimes too...
