ProLight 13w adapter & lamp
I found the adapter and lamp separated but figured they might go together. The lamp is a "Commercial Electric" a.k.a made in China 2700K but I still have high hopes that it will last longer than a Commercial Electric spiral CFL with integrated electronic ballast.

Cool! but I don't think there would be any residential applications where a lamp this long could be used but it would be great in an ATM or some other type of backlit thing. How do these PL13 lamps compare to the shorter twin tube PL13s in brightness and life?

I don't know. I had an Abco PL13 lamp and adapter but when the lamp quit I tossed the whole thing...this was long before I knew of this site, which made me start actually collecting (I've always been fascinated by lighting though)

The single U-bent PL lamps should be slightly more efficient than the quad or 2-U lamps as some of the light is blocked by the other bend. Also, the quad lamps burn hotter as they are doubled up (and likely in a more compact fixture) so they may not last as long. I have several of these 2-U 13w PL's in desk lamps and one in a security light, and none have burned out yet.

Quad-u or like the one pictured above? What's the rated life for a PL13 anyway?
