LED Comparison Two 100 watt MV and an LED posttop in background! Great comparison here! One is a GE 100 watt MV with a sag lens....not glary...the other one is a Westinghouse NEMA 100 watt MV...GLARY (it's actually less glarey in person but more in this picture though..) and you can see how bright that LED is here! and the one glowing next to me on the left side I was sitting next to a Cooper LED streetlight so you can see comparison!!!

It is a very good comparison. The MV and LED look very close in this picture. The LEDs they put up in easthampton, Ma IMO actually light fairly well once you see the whole road lit in them, not spot installed like some utilities are doing.

This isn't spot installled....this is actually the end of the row.......except one more posttop a bit farther ahead....the row was behind me! Rolling Eyes

Now im not sure of that bright light is a MV bucket anymore...I kinda remembered it was it bit farther but I remember a car with HID headlights passing so it may be it

What I don't like is comparing these with HPS. it looks to odd and is not a good way to compare light quality.

This looks pretty good. I like the MV better of coarse.
