Remote ballast 115 expiriment
Here you see the insides. The picture has writing on it to help guide you through.

You see the socket wires go streight to the m-250r2 to where the socket connectors are.

The good thing is the socket int he 115 has long wires! nice thing let it be remote ballasted temporarily.

Not bad! I did similar stuff back in the early days of street light collecting.

Cool,as a result of your project, you just had a delay in the start-up of the 250W lamp? Also I see your 2 bolt bracket can't be flipped around in your 115 like my 115 for smaller diameter arms.

I think so. But it was more quick. the M-250r2 and the 115s are back now.

if you connect both lamps sockets together and screw in 2 HPS lamps with one ballast, it will act EXACTLY like the standby HPS lamp!

I have tried that with MV,MH and HPS using the "Y splitter" adaptor to act as a standby.

What's cool with my Sylvania R37 is that the socket has connectors. That's a cool experiments! Smile

I think this one needs to be fixed.
