Cooper Wallpack
Here's a Cooper wallpack that I got gutted (originally 100w HPS) to the point where only the reflector and ballast bracket was left. I rebuilt it using various parts I had. The pulse rated socket and bracket was from a ballast tray. I originally wanted to put a 70w MH ballast inside but it didn't fit so I used a Advance 70w HPS ballast and a Sylvania HPS I had lying around. Interestingly the fixture was made in USA O_o.

Overall it looks pretty original and it only cost around 25 bucks for everything.

Nice work! i thought this was ballasted at the factory before reading the description! I'll bet that ballast will last much longer than whatever ballast was in it originally. Laughing Interesting that this was made in the states too. Most of Cooper's stuff is either made in Mexico or China...

Thanks! I wonder what ballast this came with originally since my other Cooper light also came with an Advance ballast. Interestingly they were both made in USA too.

Anyways I was glad that the replacement socket bracket and socket fit perfectly in it...even the holes lined up and the slot in the reflector was sized perfectly for it too.

Not sure why it was gutted too, it even came in the original box and still had the original instructions even the lamp sleeve was still there too.
