I was at a car dealership, and at the entrance they had a CGE 8-8-8 with retrofitted LED modules. I wonder if this could have been one of the former CGE 8-8-8s in this city now being used for a prop. It is hooked up and all they just didn't have it running.
Interesting, I wonder if it might be still incandescent, the lenses look like the original incandescence lenses than LED modules. Another place to find old CGE 8-8-8s used as props is the EX. A lot of the midway games have them lol.
Maybe, Judging by looking at it right below looked the same as the new lens used on all the signals here now. I think most CGE 8-8-8's now dont get scrapped and get used as props. I was at a fall fair in Milton and one of the stalls had 3 CGE incandescent 8-8-8 signals flashing.
