StreetLight Demolished
Came across this last month...
Must've really taken a good hard hit, considering the entire concrete base was torn out of the ground!

I have passed this many times and have not taken any pictures or even stopped xD The streetlight is gone and the pole is still down.

Wow! Never seen something that bad before, looks like it was a FCO M250R2.

@Lil'Cinnamon:
I was walking along that platte river trail & had the camera with me...so just had to take a pic of it Smile
Who knows what happened to the light. didn't see its remains laying around, maybe someone stole it, or it fell off & landed in the street when hit

@gailgrove
never thought to check google streetview..just grabbed its 'before' view Smile
If I had to guess, I'd assume it was hit by a truck rather than a car...

I've seen a bent base before but never one that got ripped out. Shocked

I've never seen either here. The aluminum poles here mostly have breakaway bases and the ones that don't will either suffer minor shaft bending from the impact and stay in place or they will simply shear off with a strong enough impact.
