Yep. Cool white and 5000K are my favorite fluorescent color temps. I like 6500K too. I like the cool fluorescent lamps better than the ones with the warmer color.

I use this troffer in my basement in this new house to light up my area. It's above me right now and connected to the main switch for down here. Works nice!

Nice! I like three-lamp troffers the best since the lamps aren't so close together though with T8s that's probably not as big of a problem. Is your parabolic troffer in use too? I got a parabolic troffer too. It came from my school. It has its three original 3500K GE EcoLux lamps from 2006 and they still work! Ballast is a three lamp Sylvania Quicktronic (instant start).
