Cooper OVX With Photocell Socket Installed!
I got the hole drilled in the top to insert the PC socket I got for this and now it's mounted outside. :-D

It's 400W HPS so I don't plan on lighting this up while it's installed, just want to display it for the winter. I want to try my M-400A2 but a larger light will have a higher projected area, so it will "catch" more wind so if we got high winds it could rip off the deck possibly. I'll have to try it... I will light this up once to see just how bright it is though...

Note that the light is aimed all the way down as far as it goes, yet the light is still slightly tilted upward. This is because the arm tilts so far upward because it's not mounted on a round surface, so the lag bolt flange "pushes" the arm upward. If I tilted this light up as far as it could go it would make an excellent flood light for my neighbor's yard lol.

Thanks! This guy was a heavy son of a gun to install LOL. That ballast weighs a ton! This light is easily 35+ pounds. A little heavy but not too bad to carry but it's a lot when you're holding it over your head with one hand and reaching for the socket wrench with the other! Laughing

A little taste of the most common fixture in my city Razz

LOL that's the M-250R2 for me! We got 'em in 50W HPS, 70W HPS (FCO), 100W HPS (drop and FCO), and 250W HPS (drop and FCO) and some older ones (1989 and before) are 100W MV.
