My M-250R Lit - Close Up
That nice silver shine. This side of the light must have faced North when it was in service (since usually if one side has more paint than the other, the side with more paint left faced North, where there isn't any direct sunlight). It could have also just been the way Joe was storing this outside. Not sure if it was laying on its side or leaned against a fence.

Does this really throw a lot of light upward? (The eaves of your house look pretty lit up, is it really like that or just a trick of the camera?)

Nope not a ton of uplight. The eaves might be lit by the setting sun or maybe a trick of the camera or something. The eaves are above the light so they shouldn't be lit. The light lights up my neighbors' houses but my house is behind the fixture so the light doesn't shine directly on the house at all; my house is only lit by the light off of reflected light.
