Now THIS is an acceptable LED streetlight. This is what I wish all the manufacturers would do. Just use the molds of their HID cobraheads for their LED ones.

I agree! I biked by this a few weeks ago too and they are a nice fit. They have LED coachboxes around Bovaird and Heart lake now on the north side. I may have spotted more LED OVF's on a new small road here They appear to be OVF's looking from steeles. LED? Im not 100% yet

Yea. All this needs is a drop lens. Smile

Totally agree this is an acceptable look for an LED cobra, I'msurprised it looks good with small cobras traditionally used on residential streets. My only criticism is this OVF is too much body for the puny LED panel of this configuration, I think they should've used the smaller OVH LED cobra here.

@Model 25, sounds like you have found the LED coachboxes I previously uploaded. And I noticed those LED's you spotted off Airport Rd, to me they looked like white GE Evolves, interesting seeing them a candidate on higher poles! what a creative name for that road though, "Driver Rd" Confused

Cool, and agreed they are kinda large for a 51w unit. 51w units are 100w or 150w HPS equivalent, depending on the generation of LEDs used. I've seen a few OVH LEDs in use out here.
