N.Y.C. Peterco "DONT WALK"
|
An interesting characteristic this pedestrian signal had was the illumination of "DONT WALK" in particular. Because of the rather poor quality of the lens and alignment of the lamp inside of the housing, the signal indication appeared bright at the center. This was noticeable at night, and it was easy to tell what was what, since the Winko-Matic VI 2L "DONT WALK" signal indication did not have this problem.
