When they rebuilt the Cambridge Service Centre last year, they also replaced all the lighting and redone the entire parking lot. The lights over the car parking were just regular LED shoeboxes but the truck parking got a couple of these LED highmast poles. Not sure how these look at night though compared to HPS highmasts though.
It seems that MTO is still on the fence about LED as I've seen some HPS highmasts go up recently.
Oh wow. Doesn't look too bad, but i bet the light isn't thrown too far. I guess RIDOT decided against LEDs for the I-95 project in front of the mall. Turns out those Holophane Mongoose lights are HPS.
oh wow LED Highmasts? that's new....and intreasting. ive seen LED Streetlights at night and was surprisingly pleased with the light but highmasts id like to see.
I've never seen an LED Highmast before, they don't have any here, even though they are replacing a lot of lights with LED's none of them are highmasts. But I hope to see a night shot of this! I wonder how it lights.
I belive I found more new LED highmasts. The 409 between the 427 and Airport road. There is one on the Q.E.W at Ontario st in Lincoln. They aren't LED panels like this. I think it could be a retrofit? Maybe MH? The towns there are in progress of going LED as well. Most of the B2255's on the sideroads beside the Q.E.W in Hamilton/St Catherines have been replaced by LED's.
