is this temporary or permanet? I'd imagine the 250W pulse start MH would be much brighter than what it replaced.

As long as no one compains, this will stay. We never got any replacement parts, so used what we allready had in stock. This is a std probe start, the white cylinder in the back is a cap.

ahh. does your company own the light or are you just servicing it? yeah i thought the cap was a starter lol. is the ballast supposed to go under the upside down U bracket or is that to center the lamp in the fixture.

It's nice you put a delux lamp in ,But I bet the thugs hwo shot it out in the first place won't think the same,At least it was induction.

Maybe they'll get some nasty sunburn/welder's flash from a broken MH lamp...
I thought this was a vintage BT 175w MV from the thumbnail...

Good choice for a replacement - and a nice Sylvania lamp too.

I replaced another shot out donut lamp with a setup like this.

somebody out there has a beef with induction lol. kudos for using HID as a replacement. It's probably much brighter too... BTW, is that a person laying on the ground behind the pole?! Shocked Laughing

maybe they thought it was a UFO Laughing Shocked

I repaired 3 more like this. One had a BB hole, 2 looks like baseballs broke the ring tube, as I found the balls inside the fixture.

wow someone doesn't like induction to the point where thet shoot out the lights on you and throw balls at them? well at least you make them HID again. i bet the MH is brighter.

6 years later, are these still up?
